OUR VISION
To advocate members' interests in Australia and abroad by expanding their network, providing education and encouraging business opportunities.
Established in 2006,
The Australian Arab Business Council has spent nearly two decades fostering vital commercial and cultural connections. In that time, we have proudly hosted almost 200 exclusive dinners, bringing together industry leaders, dignitaries, and entrepreneurs. These gatherings have become the cornerstone of our community, facilitating dialogue, building trust, and unlocking countless opportunities for bilateral growth and collaboration.

Providing clarity on frequently asked questions
Is the AABC only for business owners of Arab heritage?
Not at all. The Australian Arab Business Council is an inclusive network open to everyone. Whether you are interested in the rich culture, looking to trade with the region, or simply wish to build strong relationships within our diverse network, you are warmly welcomed.
Why is it important to attend every monthly meeting?
In our experience, genuine trust and profitable partnerships are not built in a single interaction. Consistency is key. By attending regularly, you move beyond simple acquaintances to become a trusted, integral part of the community, which is where the real business growth happens.
What is the difference between a Member and an Affiliate Member?
Affiliate Members enjoy significant commercial benefits, including a listing in our business directory, access to member discounts, and the right to promote themselves as an AABC Affiliate. However, unlike Full Members, Affiliate Members do not hold voting rights at Annual General Meetings or extraordinary meetings.
How can I become a speaker or a sponsor?
We thrive on fresh perspectives and are always open to introducing new topics to our group. If you are an industry leader with insights to share or wish to align your brand with our values through sponsorship, please contact our executive team to discuss the opportunity.
Can I bring a guest to the dinners?
Absolutely. We encourage members to bring colleagues, clients, or partners. It is a fantastic way to introduce them to the network. Please ensure you register your guest via our booking system prior to the event so we can accommodate their dietary requirements.
What industries are represented in the Council?
Our membership is incredibly diverse, covering sectors such as banking and finance, construction, legal services, health, import/export, media, and technology. This diversity facilitates unique cross-industry collaboration opportunities.
How do I join?
Joining is straightforward. Simply click the ‘Become a Member’ button to select your tier and submit an application form. Please note that all membership requests are reviewed and subject to approval by the Board before being finalised.
